Delta Outfitting Entire Domestic Fleet With Aircell’s GoGo In-Flight Wi-Fi Service by End of 2009

It’s the dawning of a new age, folks. In-flight Wi-Fi is slowly rolling out across domestic airlines in the US and Delta is looking to capitalize on it by outfitting their entire domestic fleet of aircrafts with Aircell’s GoGo service.
The first half of 2009 will see 133 of Delta’s MD88/90 airplanes equipped with the service with another 200 Boeing 737, 757 and 767-300s to follow suit. Delta hopes to have more than 330 airplanes equipped to provide the Wi-Fi service by the end of 2009 making it the only major US airline to offer the service across its entire domestic fleet.
GoGo will cost Delta flyers $9.95 on flights of three hours or less, and $12.95 for flights that are longer than three hours.

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Mockup Designs

Ubuntu Linux fans have their hopes high for Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex as it will feature a complete new user interface and a stylish new brownish-black theme which we have already witnessed in some of the screenshots for the Alpha build.
Canonical is planning to surpass Mac OS X in the next coming two years but without a revolutionary change in the Ubuntu GUI it is close to impossible. Will has made a good attempt by designing some of the best mockups of Intrepid Ibex ever and with such a design, Ubuntu can easily take over Mac OS X soon enough.

Microsoft Relaunches Windowslive.com as a Community Site
Until now, Microsoft had used WindowsLive.com as the main hub for getting information about its Live branded services like Messenger, Hotmail, Spaces, SkyDrive, and Photo Gallery. Today, Microsoft has re-launched the site as a community site, where users can exchange information and ideas about how to best use these tools. As Marty Collins, the Windows Live senior marketing manager explained to us in an interview last week, the idea behind this redesign is to better explain to users how they can use these services together, as well as fostering an active user community.
